At The Parish Hall, Ringinglow Road
SHEFFIELD, S11 7PP.

Hello and welcome to Ecclesall Theatre Company (see Finding and Contacting Us).

We were founded in 1938 (see A Brief History) and are an established and flourishing amateur theatre company.   We are a friendly and welcoming group and our aim is to have fun and to enjoy and share the recreation of drama together as members.  Although we are amateurs, we are proud of our very professional approach to all aspects of our productions. We have a good community following and our challenge is to produce drama of the highest quality for our audience.

We welcome new members, to help with the many aspects of production, be it set building, lighting, sound, costume, front of house, refreshments or, of course, acting. No experience is necessary (see Joining Us).

Interested? Then why not come and see our next play? (see below) We are sure that, whatever your taste, you will enjoy it and be delighted at the quality of our production in its entirety.

Why not become a Patron (see Joining Us) of the Company and enjoy priority booking for all three plays, together with other benefits.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE

Over the last few years, thanks to people like you,  Ecclesall Theatre Company has built up a supporter base that has given us capacity (or close to capacity) audiences on each of the five nights that we perform our three full length productions each year.

However, new local authority and fire regulations means that we must restrict our audiences to just 150 people per night (reducing our capacity from around 900, across the five nights to just 750).

We do not want to disappoint anyone and we will therefore be performing our February play “Murder by Misadventure” over 6 nights with an additional performance on Monday 6th February.

Senior citizen discount will still be offered on Tuesday 7th February.

I hope that this will not be too much of an inconvenience for you.

With thanks for your continued support.

Graham Millar

Chairman, Ecclesall Theatre Company

Please see  go to Forthcoming Productions for more information about "Murder by Misadventure".

"ECCLESALL Theatre Company stole the show by winning an impressive haul of six trophies at a city drama festival. The drama group won a series of honours in the Sheffield and District Amateur Theatre Association one act play festival at the Library Theatre.

The play Heart’s Desire by Caryl Churchill won Rhiannon Millar, aged 19, the title of best director – in her debut directorial role.
